This is what I call a nutty professor.
I would have had a blast if I had him as my high school teacher.

How Lethally Stupid Can One Country Be? | ForeignPolicy | AlterNet
“Watching George W. Bush in operation these last couple of weeks is like having an out-of-body experience. On acid. During a nightmare. In a different galaxy.”
“Do we really want to give carte blanche to any dry (we hope) drunkard in the White House who today wants to bomb Norway (“They’re stealing our fish!”) or tomorrow wants to invade Burkina Faso (“They dress funny!”)?”
Wow, I just hope there will be some positive turning point in American politics & for the world that is dragged inadvertently into this dark pit.

Those crazy Norwegian’s making probably the best MMORPG ever made with engaging & brutal barbarian fighting styles and the first one ever for the XBox360. Most amazingly they are leading sales charts before it is released.

TV-where is it headed?
Posted by Helge Johannessen on March 28, 2008
I think we discussed about the same thing, if TV is going to survive the way it is currently run, or if people will bring in their computers to the living room. If it was up to me I would choose to bring the web into the living room- no schedules you need to appreciate, commercials and it would not lead to the same amount of brainless watching. But I think people might just be too lazy to embrace this solution-in other words, it will take a long time for the general population to imitate the first moving innovators. If TV would reinvent their offering in not too long I think it might have a reasonable chance of surviving. In Norway many are getting fiber optics in their living room, and with this the television moves one step closer to offering a fully acceptable solution, but I still don’t think it includes the web- not sure though, because you get a keyboard and everything with the decoder. You think TV (where I’m thinking about the TV channel operators…?) will survive?
